Governor DeSantis has approved the use of the robotic pets and can be ordered from the Florida Department of Elder Affairs. Go to Livable Initiatives using the link below and then a form comes up to complete . Just fill in your loved ones info and that’s it. This is a free program available for seniors with dementia or Alzheimer’s. They did say it is taking between 8-12 weeks to receive these pets.
